Getting There:

Har Ki Dun is easily accessible from Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand. You can reach Dehradun by air, rail, or road. Taxis and jeeps are readily available for transportation from Dehradun to Sankri, the starting point of the trek.

Best Time to Visit:

The ideal time to visit Har Ki Dun is from May to June and September to October. During these months, the weather is pleasant, the skies are clear, and the valley is adorned with vibrant wildflowers.

Difficulty Level:

Har Ki Dun is considered a moderate trek with well-defined trails and gradual inclines. However, a good level of physical fitness is recommended for a comfortable experience.

  • You will be staying tent during trek on sharing basis
  • Snacks & dinner at Sankri on Day 1 and last day.
  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, tea, hot drinks during trek.

  • Guide, porters and staffs permit.
  • First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders etc. will be available at all campsites to deal with emergencies.
  • Gaiters, microspikes will be provided as per requirements.
  • Tents, sleeping bag, mattress, toilet tent, kitchen, tent/dining tent, cutlary set
  • Certified trek leader from Terranova Adventure.

Day 1 Sankri to Taluka by car and trek to Seema.

Drive distance: 12 km | Trek Distance : 10 km

Day 2 Trek from Seema to Kalkattiyadhaar

Trek distance: 10 km| Duration: 5-6 hours

Day 3 Trek from Kalkattiyadhar to Har Ki Doon & back to Kalkattiyadhar.

Trek Distance: 7 km | Duration: 4-5 hours

Day 4 Trek back to Seema.

Trek Distance: 4 km | Duration: 3-4 hours

Day 5 Back to Chelugad via Osla village

Trek distance: 5 km | Duration: 6 hours
