Getting There:

Shimla is well connected by road, train, and air. From shimla you have to reach Chitkul. The expeditions will start from Kibber Village, where you can arrange transportation to the trek starting point.

Best Time to Visit:

Kanamo Peak Expedition is best attempted during two distinct seasons:

• Monsoon (July-August): While offering a chance to witness Spiti Valley in its lush green phase, be prepared for potential rain and landslides.
• Autumn (September-Mid November): The ideal window boasts clear skies, stable weather conditions, and the start of winter snowfall on the higher reaches, adding a touch of challenge.

Difficulty Level:

Kanamo Peak Expedition is rated as difficult. The high altitude, along with steep climbs and loose scree terrain, demands excellent physical fitness and prior experience with high-altitude trekking. Acclimatization is crucial for a safe and successful summit push.
