Getting There:

The nearest airport is Kullu Manali Airport (BLR). Taxis and jeeps are readily available for transportation from the airport or Manali to Jagatsukh village, the starting point of the trek.

Best Time to Visit:

The ideal window for the Mt. Jagatsukh trek is between May and June to avoid heavy snowfall and benefit from pleasant weather. A second season exists from September to October after the monsoon, but weather conditions can be unpredictable. It’s best to avoid the trek from November to February due to heavy snowfall and dangerous icy paths.

Difficulty Level:

Mt. Jagatsukh is rated as a challenging trek. While not technical, it requires a good level of fitness, prior trekking experience, and comfort with high altitudes.

Day 5 Rest / Acclimatization day at Chota Chandratal Base Camp
