Getting There:
The nearest railway station to Brahmatal is Kathgodam. Taxis and jeeps are readily available for transportation from Kathgodam to Lohajung, the starting point of the trek.
Best Time to Visit:
Winter (December to February) is the ideal time for the Brahmatal Trek. The trails are covered in snow, offering a magical winter wonderland experience. However, this also makes the trek more challenging and requires proper winter gear and experience.
Difficulty Level:
Brahmatal is rated as a moderate trek. However, due to the winter conditions, it’s important to be in good physical fitness and have some experience with winter trekking.
Included/Excluded
- Stay is included in Lohajung hotel/lodge on sharing basis.
- You will be staying in tents during trek on sharing basis .
- Evening snacks and dinner in Lohajung hotel on Day1 and last day.
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, soup, tea, hot drinks during trek.
- Trekking permits for trekkers.
- Guide, porters and staffs permit.
- Garbage cleaning charges.
- Campsite permit.
- First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders etc. will be available at all campsites to deal with emergencies.
- Ice axe, ropes, gaiters will be provided as per requirement.
- Tents, sleeping bag, mattress, toilet tent, kitchen tent/dining tent.
- Cutlery set.
- Certified trek leader from Terranova Adventure.
- Qualified guide.
- Cook, helper, porters.
- Any early return travel costs or accommodation except for the days as per the itinerary.
- Meals during road journeys.
- Any kind of personal expenses.
- For any emergency, rescue expenses are not included.
- Mules or porters to carry personal luggage
- Anything apart from inclusions.
- In case of bad weather conditions or any emergency, if the trek has to be delayed for 1/2 days, we will not bare the cost of flooding + lodging charges
