Getting There:
The trek typically begins in the small village of Ghuttu in Tehri Garhwal. Dehradun serves as the nearest railway station, while Jolly Grant Airport is the closest airport. From Rishikesh, you can hire taxis or jeeps to reach Ghuttu.
Best Time to Visit:
The ideal window for the Mayali Pass Trek is between May and June. During this period, you’ll encounter stunning snow-capped landscapes while avoiding the harsher conditions of the high Himalayas later in the summer.
Difficulty Level:
The Mayali Pass Trek is rated as a tough trek, demanding a good level of fitness and prior trekking experience, especially due to the high altitude and potential snow conditions.
