The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu), while the closest major railway station is in Chandigarh. From Manali, we drive towards Jispa and Shinkun La Base Camp, the starting point of the trek.
The nearest railway station to Mt Shinkun West is in Kathgodam. From there, you can hire taxis or jeeps to reach Manali, the usual starting point for the expedition. Jeeps are also available to reach Chuminakpo, the trailhead located near the Shinkun La pass.
