Overview

Embark on a thrilling expedition to conquer the majestic Mt. Trishul I (7,120 meters/23,360 ft), a legendary peak named for its resemblance to the Trishul (trident) weapon of Lord Shiva. This challenging climb offers breathtaking landscapes, testing your physical and mental fortitude as you ascend towards the summit.

Getting There:

 1. Reach Rishikesh: Rishikesh is accessible by road from major North Indian cities. Public and private cars, buses, or taxis can be used to reach Rishikesh.

 2. Rishikesh to Base Camp: From Rishikesh, jeeps or taxis take you to Sutol village. The trek will start from Sutol village.

Best Time to Visit:

The ideal window for the Mt. Trishul I Expedition is between May-June and September-October. During these periods, you’ll encounter mostly clear skies and stable weather conditions with manageable snow on the mountain. However, unpredictable mountain weather is always a possibility.

Difficulty Level:

Mt. Trishul I Expedition is rated as difficult. This technical climb demands excellent physical fitness, prior experience with high-altitude trekking and mountaineering skills like using crampons and ice axes. Good decision-making and the ability to handle challenging weather conditions are crucial for a safe and successful summit push.

Included/Excluded

  • Stay is included in Ghat hotel/lodge on sharing basis.
  • You will be staying in high altitude tents during expedition on sharing basis.
  • Transportation from Rishikesh to last road head and return.
  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, soup, tea, hot drinks, high altitude food during expedition and in Ghat hotel.
  • Permission / peak booking from IMF
  • Trekking permits to National Park.
  • Garbage cleaning charges.
  • 30,000 INR for permit and Liaison Officer (foreigners only)
  • High risk insurance for the members
  • Heli rescue coverage
  • First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders etc. will be available at all campsites to deal with emergencies.
  • Ice axe, snow boots, harness, carabiners, descenders, gaiters, tape sling (all necessary safety & climbing gears)
  • Tents, sleeping bag, kitchen tent/dining tent.
  • Experienced sherpas.
  • Cook, supporting staff, mules.
  • Mules or porter for carry personal luggage.
  • Meals during road journeys.
  • Any kind of personal expenses.
  • Any early return travel costs or accommodation except for the days as per the itinerary.

Tour Plan

Day 1 RISHIKESH - KARANPARYAG - GHAT

drive to Ghat via Karanparyag and complete the formalities of the
expedition, Overnight stay in Ghat

Day 2 GHAT - SITEL – SUTOL

drive to Sitel where we will start the trek to Sutol village. Overnight
stay in camp

Day 3 SUTOL - LATAKHOPRI

We will trek to Latakhopri It is around 5 hrs trek. Overnight stay in
Camp

Day 4 LATAKHOPRI - HOMEKUND BC

We will trek to Hemkund base camp. We will set up the base camp
for overnight stay and rest of the expedition.

Day 5 BASE CAMP – SUMMIT – BASE CAMP

Next 15 days for Establish Higher camp i.e C1, C2 and Summit camp &
Attempt to Submit Mt. Trishul I (7125 M) and trek back to Base camp.

Day 6 ACCLIMATISATION DAY

Acclimatisation day at Base Camp

Day 7 Rest day at Base Camp

Climb to Advance Camp.
