Getting There:

The nearest major station is New Mal. From there, you can hire a taxi or jeep for the roughly 3-hour drive to Yelbong village, the starting point of the trek.

Best Time to Visit:

The ideal time to visit Yelbong for the River Canyon Trek is during the dry season, from October to March. The trails can become slippery and challenging during the monsoon months (April to September).

Difficulty Level

The Yelbong River Canyon Trek is generally considered moderate. However, there are some descents and uneven terrain, so a good level of fitness is recommended. The trails can also be slippery after rain, so proper footwear is crucial.
