Getting There:
The nearest station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP). From there, you can take a taxi or jeep to Fancheytar, nightstay in hotels. Next day from Dhotrey, the starting point of the trek. The journey takes approximately 5 hours and covers a distance of 105 km.
Best Time to Visit:
The Dhotrey – Tonglu Delight Trek can be enjoyed throughout the year, but the most favorable seasons are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November). During spring, the rhododendron forests come alive with colorful blooms, while autumn offers clear skies and comfortable temperatures.
Difficulty Level:
This trek is rated as easy, making it suitable for beginners and families with children. The trails are well-maintained with gradual inclines.
