Overview
: Goecha La trek is nestled at a height of 16,207 ft, with a closer look at the thirdhighest peak-Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is a dream and desire for hundreds of adventure lovers. Bounded by the mesmerizing flora and fauna, which are so vibrant and colourful to cheer up one’s mood.
Getting close to the legendary Mt. Kanchenjunga is not the only reason this trek remains a favourite amongst both trekkers and trek leaders alike. What fascinates us most about this trek is how up-close and life size some of the celebrated peaks of the Himalayas appear on this trail. For example, on the fifth day of the trek, we will be camping right at the foot of Mt. Pandim. By the time we get to the summit day, the peak of Mt. Pandim appears deceptively near, as if it is only a day’s hike away! Based in the state of Sikkim, Goechala is one of preferred destination for trekkers in India. Long suspension bridges running in the midst of dense jungles, a tranquil monastery at 3000 M, and a serene mirror like lake that sits right below the summit point are some of the other joys of the Goechala Trek

Getting There: How to reach Yuksom
Depending upon the trek members we will arrange a pickup and drop from NJP/Siliguri to Yuksom and return from Yuksom.
Nearest Rail station: New Jalpaiguri (Station Code: NJP)
Nearest Airport: Bagdogra (Airport Code: IXB)
Included/Excluded
- 2 night’s accommodation at Yuksom (Day 1 & Day 8) in a lodge on sharing basis (You will be staying in tents during trek on sharing basis)
- Transportation from NJP to Uttarey and return to NJP
- Evening snacks and dinner at Yuksam hotel on Day 1 and Day 8
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, soup, tea, hot drinks during trek
- Trekking permits for trekkers
- Guide, porters and staffs permit
- Garbage cleaning charges
- Campsite permit
- First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders etc. will be available at all campsites to deal with emergencies
- Ice axe, ropes, gaiters will be provided as per requirement
